The main objective of the course is training in advanced system hydraulics and its integration with digital transformation methods to obtain innovative Digital Water Service tools, based on the concept of Digital Twins, to support decision of water managers for the rational, replicable, scalable, flexible, efficient, and effective management of aqueducts:
- advanced hydraulic modeling for the analysis and management of aqueducts.
- the digital transition and the concept of digital twin to obtain practical Digital Water tools.
- modern methods of planning system districts and monitoring of hydraulic quantities.
- modern and prospective pressure control strategies.
- Nexus leakage-energy management and systems for energy recovery.
- rehabilitation methods (pipeline replacement plans) excellent from the point of view of water loss management and more generally of asset management.
